It is designed specifically for the Datalogic Memor ecosystem – with dedicated mounts and ePop-Loq integration for Memor 11, Memor 12/17 and Memor 30/35 devices. Contactless bulk reading can speed up data capture several times over compared with traditional barcode methods in stocktaking, inventory checks and asset tracking, while the mobile computer's barcode scanner remains available. Read range, tag type and compatibility with the existing device fleet are the main deployment considerations.

No, the 3138 is not a standalone device: it attaches as an accessory to Datalogic Memor mobile computers and operates through their interface and applications. If you already have a Memor fleet, this add-on protects your existing investment, as no separate RFID handheld is needed.
When the value of fast, bulk identification exceeds the higher tag cost – for example in frequent full inventories, tracking high-value assets or rapid goods receipt.
