Brother's portable range comprises the rugged RJ RuggedJet label printers and the PJ PocketJet document printers.

Brother's portable range serves two distinct needs. The RJ RuggedJet series offers rugged, belt- or shoulder-worn label and receipt printers in 2, 3 and 4-inch print widths for warehouse picking, goods receipt, delivery and field service. The PJ PocketJet line, by contrast, is a portable document printer producing A4-size documents – delivery notes, reports, invoices – on the spot, typically in a vehicle or at the customer's site. Both families connect to mobile devices over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Document type, print width, battery life and ruggedness determine the choice.
