Equipped with Newland’s advanced megapixel scanning technology, the WD2 delivers fast and highly accurate reading performance for both 1D and 2D barcodes, including damaged, distorted, high-density, and difficult-to-read codes. The scanner is available in both Standard Range and Mid Range versions, enabling organizations to optimize scanning performance for close-range picking workflows or longer-distance warehouse scanning applications. The Standard Range version uses a precise cross-laser aimer combined with Newland’s Acuscan technology, allowing users to target specific barcodes accurately even when multiple codes are positioned close together. The Mid Range version utilizes a highly visible red dot aimer optimized for locating larger or more distant barcodes in warehouse and logistics environments. Bluetooth 5.0 wireless communication ensures stable, low-latency data transmission with strong anti-interference performance and a wireless range of up to 80 meters in open spaces. The WD2 also supports fast and simple pairing with the WD1 wearable computer using onscreen barcode pairing technology. Designed for demanding industrial use, the WD2 features IP65 protection and resistance to drops from up to 1.5 meters. Despite its rugged construction, the scanner weighs only 43 grams, minimizing user fatigue during extended shifts and continuous scanning tasks.
