The Thor VM3A is not a handheld terminal or general-purpose rugged tablet. It is a full-sized vehicle-mounted computer designed to serve as the operator’s workstation inside the vehicle cab. With its 12.1-inch display, rugged dock system, industrial I/O, integrated keypad functions and support for external WLAN antennas, it is well suited to forklift operations, warehouse task execution, material movement, goods receiving, put-away, loading, production logistics and freight handling. A major advantage of the Thor VM3A is Honeywell’s Smart Dock system. The computer can be mounted or removed in seconds without disturbing the vehicle cabling.
