Honeywell Vehicle-Mount Mobile Computers

Honeywell Thor forklift terminals support vehicle-based warehouse work with quick-swap docks, heated-display variants and the Android platform.

Honeywell's forklift terminals are the Thor VM1A and VM3A, built with 8- and 12-inch touch displays respectively, the Android operating system and an industrial design. The smart dock system allows the terminal to be moved quickly between vehicles, and the heated displays of the cold-storage variants remain readable in sub-zero environments. Paired with external barcode scanners, forklift operators can work with the WMS without leaving the vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

The main difference is display size: the VM1A has an 8-inch and the VM3A a 12-inch touchscreen. For tighter forklift cabs and simpler, list-based workflows the VM1A is sufficient, while the VM3A's larger display is more practical for complex warehouse management interfaces or displaying more data at once.
