The direct thermal ZD611d-HC is well suited for healthcare labels, receipts and wristbands where ribbon is not required. The thermal transfer ZD611t-HC supports ribbon-based printing for applications where more durable label output is needed. Linerless capability is available as a direct thermal option with cutter. Healthcare design is one of the most important advantages of the ZD611-HC. The printer uses healthcare-preferred white colouring, disinfectant-ready easy-to-clean plastics, a sealed button interface and UV-resistant housing to support cleaning protocols in clinical environments. Both models are compact enough for space-limited healthcare workstations. Operating temperature is 4.4°C to 41°C, with operating humidity from 10% to 90% non-condensing. Storage temperature is -40°C to 60°C, with storage humidity from 5% to 95% non-condensing. The printer uses an auto-detectable PFC-compliant 100–240 VAC power supply, is ENERGY STAR certified and Energy Efficiency Level VI certified. Healthcare models include the IEC 60601-1 certified power supply. Options and accessories include dispenser / peeler with label present sensor, cutter, RS-232 serial, wireless dual radio, battery, ZKDU keyboard display unit and a mounting adapter bracket for installation in the same location as an LP / TLP2824 Plus printer. The optional 2750 mAh battery provides power for full-shift printing at maximum print speed and supports all media handling options, making it possible to move the compact desktop printer on a cart when required.
