The Zebra RS5000 is a rugged, corded 1D/2D ring scanner designed to increase productivity in warehouse, logistics, retail backroom and manufacturing workflows where operators need both hands free. It offers IP65 sealing, protection against dust and water spray, multiple 1.2 m drops to concrete, and 1,000 tumbles at room temperature. Its operating temperature range from -30°C to +50°C makes it suitable not only for standard warehouse aisles, but also for cold storage and freezer applications. This combination of ruggedness and ergonomic design makes it a strong choice for high-volume environments where device reliability directly affects process speed. The scanner captures barcodes from near contact up to over 63.5 cm, depending on barcode type and size.
