Honeywell CT30 XP Healthcare Mobile Computer

Honeywell CT30 XP Healthcare Mobile Computer – 1/1

The Honeywell CT30 XP HC is a lightweight, durable healthcare mobile computer designed for nurses, caregivers and clinical staff who need fast access to patient information, communication tools and barcode-based verification workflows. It combines the familiar usability of a modern smartphone with the manageability, durability and enterprise lifecycle support required in healthcare institutions. The CT30 XP HC is built for patient-facing workflows such as patient identification, medication verification, specimen collection, therapy validation, clinical communication, task management and access to electronic healthcare information. Its slim 154 × 76 × 12.6 mm design and 215 g weight make it easy to carry in a pocket and comfortable to use across long shifts, while the healthcare-focused housing supports frequent cleaning in clinical environments. Built on Honeywell’s Mobility Edge platform, the CT30 XP HC gives healthcare IT teams a stable and secure Android foundation with longer lifecycle support than consumer smartphones. The device is guaranteed from Android 11 to at least Android 13, with committed support for Android 14 and Android 15 when supported by Qualcomm. This helps healthcare organizations standardize applications, simplify deployment and reduce long-term total cost of ownership. Performance is provided by a Qualcomm QCS4290 / QCM4290 octa-core 2.0 GHz processor, with 4 GB or 6 GB DDR4x RAM and 64 GB UFS Flash. The UFS storage technology supports faster boot-up and better application responsiveness, while the modern processor platform is suitable for current clinical applications and future software with stronger AI or graphics requirements. The device also includes a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and microSD expansion up to 512 GB. The 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2160 × 1080 resolution provides a clear visual interface for patient records, medication information, communication apps and clinical workflow screens. The rugged multi-touch capacitive panel supports glove, stylus and rain modes, water droplet rejection and screen protector mode. Gorilla Glass 5 adds resistance against daily wear and accidental drops. For healthcare barcode workflows, the CT30 XP HC can be equipped with Honeywell N6700 or Honeywell S0703 scan engines for 1D/2D barcode scanning. The fast scan engine is designed to reduce user fatigue when scanning small labels used on patient wristbands, medication packaging, sample tubes and therapy verification labels. Honeywell SDK support also helps integrate scanning into clinical Android applications. The healthcare version is built with disinfectant-ready housing, allowing frequent cleaning with strong disinfectants without damaging or fading the housing material. This is an important differentiator compared with standard consumer-style devices, especially in shared-device hospital environments where cleaning routines are part of daily operation. Connectivity is designed for clinical mobility. Selected SKUs support Wi-Fi 6 / IEEE 802.11ax with 2x2 MU-MIMO, improving connection reliability and throughput in dense hospital wireless environments. Other SKUs support Wi-Fi 5. The CT30 XP HC also includes Bluetooth 5.1, BLE, integrated NFC, LTE Advanced WWAN options, GPS/GNSS, VPN and Push-to-Talk support. This makes it suitable for voice, text and video communication as well as mobile clinical application access. The CT30 XP HC supports Honeywell software such as Operational Intelligence, which provides data-driven device insights and helps reduce IT support effort. The dedicated Push-to-Talk button, VoIP readiness, HAC-compliant speaker, and three microphones with noise cancellation support practical team communication in busy clinical environments. Durability is stronger than a consumer smartphone while preserving a lightweight form factor. The device is independently certified to IP67, withstands multiple 1.2 m drops to concrete across the operating temperature range, 1.5 m drops at room temperature, and 500 tumbles at 0.5 m. Its -10°C to +50°C operating range supports typical hospital, clinic and healthcare logistics environments. With universal dock compatibility and charger options including 1-, 4- and 5-bay charging accessories, the CT30 XP HC fits well into managed healthcare device fleets. It is a strong choice for healthcare organizations that want an elegant, pocketable enterprise Android healthcare mobile computer with professional scanning, communication, device management and disinfectant-ready construction.
